Little Makers means hands in clay, paint on paper, and art materials to touch, squish, and stack. Little ones under 4 explore right alongside a caregiver, working the materials together at their own pace, while our 4–6 year olds get to experiment and create on their own. Dress for fun (and for a mess!)

“The Hive” invites children into a supportive space to unwind, make art, and connect with others. Through gentle structure and guided invitations to create, children are offered rich materials that support exploration, experimentation, and their own creative process.
Rooted in an art-therapy-informed approach, each session supports curiosity, self-expression, and meaningful connection while emphasizing process over product. No artistic experience is required.

An open-ended creative session packed with tactile materials and inspiring invitations—from cardboard builds to beadwork and collage. An abundance of supplies, gentle prompts to spark ideas, and complete freedom to create at your own pace.

Makers Studio (Single Session)

Open studio, open-ended creating. With an instructor on hand to support (not lead), makers explore collage, paint, cardboard, and other inviting materials — no lesson plan, no "right" way. A few art invitations offer a starting point for makers to explore and create.

Creative Care for New Parents is taking a pause for our upcoming session. While weekly public classes aren't running right now, we’d love to host a custom gathering for your parent group or playgroup! Feel free to reach out to book a private session, or check out our current class schedule to see what else is happening in the studio.
Simple art invitations for parents to create, connect, and take a little breath in the early days of parenthood — with babies right there alongside you. Some invitations are just for you; others are simple, sensory ways to create with baby.

Shine also partners with schools, organizations, and community groups to deliver sensory-rich, art therapy–informed programming for children, teens, and adults. These outreach programs bring Shine’s supportive, inclusive approach beyond the studio walls, creating nurturing spaces for emotional expression and creative exploration.
